This year National Wushu Competition will be held in Toa Payoh Sports Complex from 26th Aug to 28th Aug. Unlike in 2004, there will not be any team competition and traditional routine for this year National Wushu Competition.

The Taichi competition will only focus on the Individual event and is based on the 24 Quan, 42 Quan and 42 Sword  International Routine

The aim of the National Wushu Competition is to promote wushu among Singaporean and to increase the wushu standard in Singapore. Also, it aims to encourage Singaporean to be actively involved in Wushu activities. Lastly, candidates for National Team will also be selected from the competition.
